Now that we've had all our checkpoints, we're heading towards the final finish. It seems far away, but it's there before you know it - so make sure you're ready! Later, CPayscom.com Team 02/11/2006 Competition Tougher Than Ever After following this SEO challenge for more than 3 months, it’s clear to see that the competition is much tougher than in the first CPayscom Search Engine contest. The top 10 in the main search engines is changing regularly, so there is no telling who’s gonna win the 2nd checkpoint and even more impossible to predict the future winners of the competition. We just wanted to wish everyone - once again - good luck en success in the competition. We see that there are some real SEO experts out there doing good stuff, but we also noticed that some smaller and beginning SEO’s are starting to gain territory in the contest. One way or another, it happened that for Yahoo two different reputable anonymizers came up with a very surprising result….two different #1 winners! We decided that there could only be one winner, since there was only one prize, but in all this confusion, it happened that we listed one of these winners with the screenshot of the other site... We changed the screenshot to the matching listing to avoid any further confusion, but that still left us with one extra winner. We know that this is a competition that is mostly played for fun, but we don’t want to take away anyone’s credit for winningJ. 26/06/2006 We’re almost there… After months and months of hard work & having a lot of fun, it’s finally going to happen --- the winner of the CPays SEO Competition will soon be known! At last, we’ll find out who has the best SEO skills and knows the most tricks & trips to outsmart the search engines.
